Reason
Since it's founding days S. D. Hunchak Party wanted to awaken the national, social and democratic ideas in the Armenians of the Ottoman Empire. The main aim was to create an independent Armenian state by breaking the enslaving chains of "the sick man of Europe"
Today the party operates on the core principles of Progress, Equality, Democracy and Sustainability.

We believe that a strong Armenia requires a thriving economy, high-quality public services and vibrant communities run by Democratic values without any prejudice and social justice to all.
